Graduate Assistantships
Graduate assistantships are awarded in the form of discounted tuition, split equally between fall and spring terms. Positions provide full-time students with valuable hands-on experiences, expanded learning opportunities, and professional growth possibilities.

Employer & Alumni Discount Programs
A 20% tuition discount on select programs is available for full-time employees and members of organizations who have partnered with Chatham University (provided all eligibility requirements are met) and students who have graduated from Chatham as an undergraduate.

On-Campus Employment Opportunities
Chatham offers a limited number of paid graduate Student Employment positions in academic and administrative departments across campus. These positions are paid hourly, and individuals can work up to 19 hours per week.

Federal TEACH Grant
Federal TEACH Grant will be awarded to interested students who reach out to the Office of Financial Aid. Students will be required to complete a TEACH grant application, where they acknowledge the terms of the TEACH grant and possible conversion to a Direct Loan if not fulfilled.

Prior Learning Assessment
Chatham's Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) program grants degree-seeking students the ability to be awarded academic credit for knowledge gained—from independent study, employment, volunteering, etc.—in advance of matriculating at Chatham.
